We all know that we are living inside real world. So the concept of reality must be discussed. So what is actually reality? Is that all we see and feel? Then what about certain perceptions made by our history or emotions? Well some could think this also as reality. What is wrong with that? Actually this discussion will never reach to an end. Because reality is as complicated as the concept of space both in science and literature.
In the model that we would go through in this article we are supposing that reality is multilayered. But still we don’t know a definite definition for that and all we know about that is it is like this. But definitely it is not a fancy complex idea that you would see in MCU or other Sci-fi themes. So what we see is defined by where we are. And that isn’t a constant function. It may change from time to time in one’s life. So we all live in same world. But the reality that we experience may or may not be similar.
For example think about a modern art which is not meant for ordinary audience. For an artist he could see the real beauty of that, but possibly not for a common man. So how could you explain this phenomenon? Surely they are almost near by space and time. But what makes difference is the layer at which they are in reality. The difference in what they see is actually a measure of the distance between the layers of reality in which they are present at that time. Or we could think about a classroom where we could find more diversity in reality. Suppose the lectures are going on, And there may be a fraction of students listening to the instructor, doing something else( including the day dreamers and even sleeping). So the reality for each of these individuals are different. So now how can we go further with our concept of absolute reality? So it is no more possible.
Relativity and Perception
As in all other causes relativity plays a vital role here also. For that we have to make an idea about perception. We could see that it is actually an interpretation of reality with our logic, or in language of mathematics the derivative of reality with respect to logic. So from here itself we are clear that this process involves logic and myth or ghost stories are not a subject of our discussion. So what we get from our surroundings depends on both where we are and the logic. So for two person, however close they are it is almost impossible to feel something in exactly same way. This doesn’t mean that it will not happen, but chances are almost nil. Here we could see the role of relativity. Consider the reality and logic as the axes of a 2D graph. In this we could make many curves, which represents some person( actually we can’t make such graph). The graph is relative at the same time most probably we cannot find an intersection.
Degeneracy and resonance
The other thing about this concept is that people who are in the same layer has a degeneracy. Such that mentally they would be at same potential. Such that they could feel the reality similarly but not same as logic may vary. Think about the cause of the modern art. In that the artist who created that and who was watching that has a degeneracy , such that what they see is similar than that of the common man. Indeed this is also time dependent. What happens here is for some people the world is almost similar in their thoughts. This is what happens in a group of artists, scientists, etc. But unless like the group it is not so concrete. So for an idea to be properly delivered from person to person they have to be at least at the same layer to avoid loss of information as it is passed between different layers of reality. It is impossible to have each one in a group in the same layer even they are equally intellectual. And it is impossible for one to exactly transfer an idea to other one all the time.
The concept of resonance is of having same perception. For that two persons will have to be in same layer and the plots will have to intersect( literally impossible). From the same example we could see that both the artists will have similar view but not exactly the same. So it is impossible for a group of people to see some thing which is non physical exactly in the same way if something like tat is happened most probably there will be a physical cause.
Indeed this is a dry concept due to it’s complexity. But this relativistic view is important to think.
I think what you mean by these layers of reality, is just the levels of thinking which is certainly different for different people as everyone doesn’t have the same brain. The Brains of Artists perceive anything in an artistic or creative way. Their brains are wired to do in such a way. Same with other categories of people.
I think the reality we live in are the same, but the way how it is perceived is different for different people.

Absolute reality is a non existing thing. So what we pensive is a result of our thought process also. But that doesn’t mean that is the only difference in thoughts. There is layers of reality. Like mentioned about a two dimensional plot. But the thing is that these layers are kind of like a function and our thought process and logic are kind of like a variable.
